I decided to take 2 bikes this year. The M1100R-24 set up soft on wets for the hill climb and Teretonga if it was wet. The Mecanica M1100RS for the dry.

It was a great day at Bluff with reasonable good weather. Got in 2 practices and 3 timed runs. Still not enough to learn the course but chipped away at it taking a few seconds off each time. Road is bumpy as F#$k and wets weren't the best choice so ended up fitting a used treaded on the back after a couple of big slides. All good fun and kept it shiny finishing 10th in class with a time of 51.7. Still need a 49 so I guess I am going back next year.

Teretonga weather was great too. Yes 3 in a row, 24° and really intense when the sun came out. There is no real class for my bike at the Burt so I have to compete in the BEARS Open with all sorts for superbikes. Finished 12 in both races and gradual improved my lap times with a PB of 106.3. Just need to make less mistakes and I know a 105 isn't far off. Highlight was passing an BMW S1000RR around the outside at the loop but as usual I got passed straight back as soon as he opened the gas. But hey it was all good fun!
